The Community of the Resurrection is an Anglican monastic community located at Mirfield in West Yorkshire (UK). Inspired by the rule of St Benedict, it is not cut off from the world; it is fully part of the Anglican Church of England and its brethren work hand-in-hand with a wide variety of people in the UK and overseas. The Community was founded in Oxford in 1892 by the Rev Charles Gore and moved to Mirfield in 1898 to be close to the then thriving industrial centres.

Many who come to know the Community like to share its work and charism in their own lives and locations by becoming Companions of the Community of the Resurrection (CCR). There have been Companions for well over a century and, although times have changed, the Community's work goes on and many individuals attempting to live out the Christian calling in the world still value being supported in this by being a Companion of the Community.

This website has been established to help Companions keep in touch with each other and with developments and, importantly, to act as encouragement for all, especially those  individuals who are not yet Companions but who may be considering becoming one. It also provides details of CCR Local Groups and events happening locally.
