Companions Day 2009

On 4 July, 2009 the annual Companions Day was held at the College and Community of the Resurrection in Mirfield. Almost 60 Companions plus many of the Brothers attended this. As part of the day, Fr Oswin gave a detailed presentation about the changes proposed to the church and the plans for the new monastery. Following the midday Eucharist and admission of new Companions, the attendees split into groups to discuss the following:

before re-grouping to summarise the comments.

Benediction then took place in the Resurrection Chapel in the Community church with the day ending with tea in the College refectory.

Companions Day 2008

On 24 May, 2008, the annual Companions Day was held at All Saints Church and Pulford School, Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire. Around 90 people enjoyed a programme of talks to help equip us to meet the challenges of witnessing to the Risen Lord in the years ahead. The day included a service of Holy Communion and renewal of commitments, with Bishop John Flack as celebrant. A copy of the order of service can be found here and here.
