2015

June 2015: Companions and friends stayed at the Community of the Resurrection at Mirfield for a pilgrimage weekend. Having been the first external group to experience the Community's initial pilgrimage weekend in 2012, it was interesting to see how much this has been developed and a wonderful and inspirational weekend was enjoyed by all. Our time included the "Stations of Salvation", talks, a short prayer walk, tour of the library and other activities.

April 2015: Companions and friends joined in a quiet morning at the lovely church of All Saints, Clifton (Bedfordshire) followed by a pub lunch at the Five Bells at Henlow.

August 2011: Twelve CR Companions and Friends met at the Totternhoe (Bedfordshire) home of John and Mary Payne-Cook for a Summer Gathering. Following an extremely fulfilling lunch (which included some splendid home-made Lettuce soup), updates were given and the Group's proposed future events discussed and agreed. Before tea, John led us in a meditation based on readings from the book "Praying with the Earth" by John Philip Newell. It was lovely to see Fr John Cuthbertson there - now in good health - and, following her recent illness, Ros Johnson. Also joining us was Sue Tatton-Brown, all the way from Hove!
